Bamboo Financial Services was created from a simple belief: people deserve the opportunity to understand their financial health before being asked to make financial decisions.
Bamboo brings an assessment-first, education-centered approach to financial conversations—helping people better understand where they are, what may need attention, and what options may be appropriate for moving forward.
We don’t start with a product. We start with you.

My journey into financial services began with a realization that was both personal and surprising. I had spent years building a career in healthcare and education, earning advanced degrees and helping others make informed decisions—yet I recognized gaps in my own financial knowledge.
That experience changed the way I thought about financial education. I realized that income, education, and professional success don’t automatically teach us how to manage money, prepare for the unexpected, protect what we’ve built, or plan confidently for the future.
Bamboo Financial Services grew from that realization. I wanted to create a place where people could ask questions, understand their financial picture, and learn before being expected to make decisions.
You shouldn’t have to be a financial expert to make informed financial decisions. You just need the opportunity to understand.
In healthcare, we begin by listening, asking questions, and assessing the whole picture. We identify concerns, explain what they mean, discuss appropriate options, develop a plan, and continue educating and reassessing along the way.
Education is part of the entire patient experience—not just one moment in the visit.
Bamboo follows a similar approach. We begin by understanding your financial picture and identifying what may need attention. We help you understand what the assessment reveals, explore appropriate options, and develop a strategy based on your needs and goals.
As life changes, the conversation continues—with education, review, and adjustments along the way.
Financial wellness is an ongoing relationship—not a one-time transaction.
Your finances deserve the same thoughtful, ongoing attention as your health.
Assess. Educate. Strategize. Grow.

Certified Estate Planning Strategist

My professional journey has centered on helping people understand complex information and make informed decisions about their lives. As a nurse practitioner and educator, I learned the importance of listening first, asking the right questions, and helping people understand their options—not simply telling them what to do. Today, I bring that same philosophy to financial wellness through Bamboo.
Different fields. One philosophy: Understand first.
